Vehicle Investigations In-service

Frankfort, KY - More than 8200 vehicles, valued at nearly $39 million, were stolen in Kentucky in 2003. That amounts to about one theft every hour.

The Kentucky State Police Vehicle Investigations Unit will be conducting a week long seminar for troopers, officers, deputies and others interested in reducing and solving vehicle thefts.

The media is invited to attend part of the training on Tuesday July 5th at 1:00 pm. The event will take place at Copart Salvage, which is located at 5801 KASP Ct., which is off of Blue Sky Parkway.
