KSP To Hold Used Vehicle Auction June 21

The Kentucky State Police will be holding a used vehicle auction on Friday, June 21 at 94 Airport Road in Frankfort. Registration will begin at 8:00 am and the auction will start at 9:00 am. The event is open to the public. The auction will feature out-of-service Kentucky State Police and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement cruisers and a variety of other confiscated vehicles including three semi road tractors. More than 111 vehicles are in running condition and 63 are in non-running condition. Approximately 75 percent of the vehicles are Ford Crown Victorias. Fifty percent are gray, 30 percent are tan and 20 percent are other colors. All announcements made day of sale supersede any previous announcements oral or written. KSP reserves the right to reject any and all bids. There will be a seven percent buyer's premium charged to all items sold. Full payment is required within one hour after last item is sold. Payment for items to be made by cash, cashiers, certified or travelers checks, money order or in-state personal checks with proper identification. All out-of-state checks or any check/s totaling more than $5,000.00 will require a fully certified bank letter guaranteeing payment. The letter must be on bank letterhead or bids will not be accepted. All items are sold as is and where is. All vehicles must be picked up during the week following the sale unless other arrangements are made.
