Content-Based Task Test
The CBTT is an agility course, which consists of a series of twenty to forty yard sprints with obstacles interspersed between them. The course is ¼ mile in length. The obstacles include a 5'6" wall climb, a running 4-foot horizontal jump, a six-stair climb, a 150-pound dummy drag, and a dry fire exercise. The CBTT is worth 40 percent of your composite score (100 percent possible).
An elapsed time is used to score the CBTT. Applicants completing the course under the maximum time limit will receive forty points. Each second elapsed after the maximum time limit expires requires a deduction of one point.
Applicants are also eligible to retake the CBTT twice within a 12-month period. Again, the 12-month period stems from the date of the first written examination.
You may view the CBTT in action. If you have a high speed broadband connection, the MPEG format video is recommended. For low speed modem connections, the Real Media format video is recommended.
