State Police Request Help Resolving Linda K. Woodruff Murder

The Kentucky State Police is requesting the public's assistance in developing new leads on a cold case.
On August 24, 1979, the body of Linda K. Woodruff of St. Charles, KY, was discovered at what use to be the Kwik Pick Store on South Main Street in Madisonville. She was working at the store as a clerk when she was shot. No money was taken. Linda Woodruff was a 28-year-old, white, female.
