Cold Case of Margret Warner

State Police Need Information on the case of Margret Warner - Remains Found on 09/08/1966

On 02/27/1967 the Kentucky State Police was asked to investigate the victim's death that occurred on 09/08/1966. The victim was a known alcoholic who was reported to have been on a two day drinking binge at Goldie's Bar in Dayton, KY. She was observed leaving with an unidentified male. The victim was found on a path with her clothes distorted, bra unhooked, skirt about the hips. Cause of death was determined to be asphyxiation brought on by the ingestion of alcohol and Chloral Hydrate.
