State Police Need Information on the case of Adam Richard Payne - Found on October 09, 1955
Victim: Adam Richard Payne, Black Male, 34 years of age, 5'9" and 165lbs.
Description: Mr. Payne was discovered lying in the roadway of KY 428 (Guston Road), 7/10ths of a mile west of Guston in Meade County on Sunday, October 09, 1955. He was initially reported as having been struck by a motor vehicle. However, the responding trooper discovered the victim had died of gunshot wound(s). Evidence suggests he was shot and killed at an unknown location. His body was dumped on KY 428 where he was struck by a vehicle after his death.
