Victim: Mary Lucinda Strange, 129 Clarktown Road, Bardstown, KY white female. Lucinda Strange was married and employed as a restaurant hostess at the Holiday Inn in Bardstown, KY.

Location: Nelson County, KY – Clarkstown Road, 11 miles south of Bardstown

Date: Sunday, March 25, 1990

Synopsis: The Kentucky State Police request help in resolving the murder of Mary Lucinda Strange. Mary Lucinda Strange was taking an exercise walk near her home on Clarktown Road, having left her residence at approximately 7:10 pm. This was a regular activity although times varied. Her body was observed in a ditch near her home, some ten minutes later by a passing motorist. Mrs. Strange had multiple knife wounds and defensive wounds to her body. Mrs. Strange died on March 25, 1990.
