Kentucky State Police will team up with Pepsi and Kroger stores throughout the state to collect food for families in need this holiday season.Cram the Cruiser holiday food drive is KSPs way of continuing to serve families in need across the Commonwealth.
People are asked to drop off canned food and other nonperishable food items at any of the state police posts and offices throughout Kentucky.
On Sunday December 8th, troopers will hold a special collection near several Krogers across Kentucky.
The food collected will be distributed to shelters, churches or other organizations.
Last year, Kentucky state troopers collected nearly 210 tons of food. The food drive runs through Dec. 9th.
