Lawrenceburg, KY. (February 20, 2018) – On Tuesday, February 20, 2018, Kentucky State Police responded to a complaint of Terroristic Threatening at the Anderson County Middle School at 1 Mustang Trail in Anderson County.

The Kentucky State Police received a call of Terroristic Threatening after a threat was written on the wall in a bathroom of the school that read “I am going to shoot up the school on 2/21/2018”. During the course of the investigation, Kentucky State Police Detectives determined the threat was made by a 13 year old female student.

The 13 year old juvenile was charged with two counts of Terroristic Threatening 2nd and 1 count of Criminal Mischief 3rd. She has been lodged in the Fayette County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
