Virgie, KY (January 28, 2020) Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post 09, are investigating a fatal collision on KY Rt. 805 between Jenkins and Dorton.

Post 09 received the call just before 4AM of a crash involving two vehicles.

Upon Troopers arrival, they discovered two vehicles had collided causing the death of one person. One person from the second vehicle was transported to the Pikeville Medical Center for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing and further details will be released as they develop.
