Bardwell, KY. (September 30, 2021) – Troopers with Kentucky State Police, Post 1 have charged a teacher after an investigation into allegations of inappropriate contact with a student.

In August, KSP Post 1 received a report regarding a Carlisle County Middle School teacher who allegedly used force to inappropriately touch a student.

On Wednesday, September 30th, the Carlisle County Sheriff’s Office served an arrest warrant on Clay A. Tilford, 37 of West Paducah, Kentucky. Tilford is charged with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree, Victim Under 12 Years of Age (Class C Felony) and Voyeurism (Class A Misdemeanor). He was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

The investigation continues by the Kentucky State Police.
