LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (January 13, 2023) –Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 12 detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing in the area of Salt River Road in Anderson County.  A preliminary investigation determined that at approximately 5:30 P.M. on January 12th, Chad Ritchie of Lawrenceburg had been fatally wounded.  Russel Oliver of Lawrenceburg has been charged with Murder/Domestic Violence and lodged in the Shelby County Detention Center.  The investigation is still ongoing.

Kentucky State Police was assisted on scene by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, Anderson County EMS, and the Anderson County Coroners Office.
