***UPDATE***

Taylorsville, KY (September 19, 2023)- Kentucky State Police Post 12 Detectives in conjunction with the Cincinnati Police Department executed multiple search warrants in the Cincinnati area on September 18th, 2023.  These search warrants were obtained pursuant to the ongoing investigation and the Shelby County Coroner determining that the death of Christiana Walker, in May of 2023, was a homicide.  During the course of these searches two arrests were made in regards to the murder of Ms. Walker.  Kimberly Walton, 22 of Cincinnati OH, and Edet Wettee, 39 of Cincinnati OH.  Both Walton and Wettee are charged with one count of murder and are currently incarcerated in Ohio, awaiting extradition back to Kentucky.  A juvenile child was in the custody of Mr. Wettee at the time of his arrest and is currently in the care of the State of Ohio.  The investigation remains open and ongoing.

TAYLORSVILLE, Ky. (June 13, 2023) – Kentucky State Police Post 12 Detectives continue investigating the Chatman Road incident in Spencer County. Detectives have spoken with and know the child of Christina Walker is safe. The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released as they become available.

TAYLORSVILLE, Ky. (June 6, 2023)– Through the investigation an autopsy was conducted.  The human remains located on scene were identified as Christina Walker (35 years old of Taylorsville).  No other information is available at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

TAYLORSVILLE, Ky. (May 30, 2023) –The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 12 is conducting a death investigation in Spencer County.   On May 29th at approximately 4:15 PM, Troopers responded to a residence in the area of Chatman Road in Spencer County for a structure fire.  Upon arrival, unidentified human remains were found inside the residence.  KSP Detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation which is ongoing at this time, and more information will be released as it progresses.
