Midway, KY. (August 15, 2020) – On August 15, 2020, The Kentucky State Police, Frankfort Post was contacted just before 2:30 pm in reference to a collision that occurred on I-64 near the Scott/Woodford County Line.
The initial investigation indicates that a red, 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling westbound on I-64 at the Scott/Woodford County line. Control of the vehicle was lost and abruptly overturned in the median. The vehicle was occupied by Phillip Cox, age 80 of Glasgow, KY, Katherine Locke, age 74 of Cave City, KY, and Jasmin Ramic, age 51 of Glasgow, KY. The Woodford County Coroner pronounced Phillip Cox and Katherine Locke deceased at the scene. Jasmin Ramic was transported to UK Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.
KSP Post 12 was assisted on scene by the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, Versailles Police Department, Woodford County Coroner’s Office. Woodford County EMS, Scott County EMS, and Scott County Fire Department.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 12 Reconstruction Unit, Trooper Jacob Guffey.
