Olive Hill, KY. (February 15, 2021) – Kentucky State Police was notified of a fatal accident that occurred on I-64, 161 mile marker at approximately 0111 hours.  Upon arriving on scene, Troopers learned that Unit 1 (passenger car) was traveling Westbound on I-64 when it went off the left shoulder of the roadway into the snow and lost control.  Unit 1 then traveled across the lanes of traffic and struck a guardrail.  This caused Unit 1 to go back into the lane of travel at which time it was struck by Unit 2 (semi truck).  Victim, Angel Johnson (43), was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected out of the vehicle.  Ms. Johnson was pronounced deceased on scene by Carter County Corner William Waddell.  The accident is being investigated by Trooper Moore.  The following agencies assisted on scene: Carter County EMS, Grayson Fire Department, Olive Hill Fire Department and Carter County Sheriffs Office,
