REYNOLDS STATION, Ky. (February 29, 2020)–Kentucky State Police detectives are investigating a structure fire which killed a Hancock County man last night. Authorities responded to the fire located at 1668 Hawesville Easton Road outside Reynolds Station around 11:30pm.
Larry W. Buck, 73 of Reynolds Station was pronounced dead on-scene by the Hancock County Coroner.
Kentucky State Police detectives are currently working to determine a cause and origin; however, nothing suggests foul play at this time.
Kentucky State Police and the Hancock County Coroner’s Office are continuing their investigation. South Hancock, Duke, Whitesville and Fordsville Vol. Fire Departments responded to the scene. Hancock County Road Department assisted investigators by bringing an excavator to remove the metal roof, which collapsed.
