Trooper Located Methamphetamine and Paraphernalia
FORDSVILLE, Ky. (June 07, 2018)—A Kentucky State Police trooper patrolling Fordsville yesterday afternoon noticed a man walking on KY 54 who appeared intoxicated. The trooper stopped to investigate and determined the man was under the influence. Timothy A. Villafranca, 35 of Owensboro was taken into custody but attempted to give false identifying information to the trooper during the stop. A brief search revealed Villafranca had a syringe with methamphetamine in his pocket. He was charged with:
1) Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense-Methamphetamine
2) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
3) Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance
4) Giving Officer False Identifying Information
He was transported and lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford.
