Trooper Located Large Amount of Packaged Marijuana in Cooler
LIVERMORE, Ky. (April 28, 2018)—Kentucky State Police troopers were conducting a traffic safety checkpoint around 11pm on US 431 just North of Livermore. While conducting the safety checkpoint, troopers and McLean County Sheriff deputies made contact with Bradley M. Pendleton, 27 of Owensboro. While conducting the investigation, troopers could smell the odor of marijuana. Located inside the car was a bag of marijuana, glass pipe containing marijuana residue and large bag of processed marijuana located in a cooler.
Pendleton was arrested and transported to the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro where he was lodged on the following charges:
(1) Trafficking in Marijuana (8oz to 5 pounds), 1st Offense
(2) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
McLean County Sheriff’s Department assisted KSP troopers at the roadside safety check.
