Graham, Ky. (Muhlenberg County) – On November 30, 2020, around 7:24 PM, the Kentucky State Police Post 2, Madisonville, was requested by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department to investigate a collision involving a commercial vehicle on the Western Kentucky Parkway.
Preliminary investigation revealed 76-year-old Jack H. Lovins, of Hopkinsville, Ky., was operating a 1999 International semi-truck, with flatbed trailer-in-tow, eastbound on the WK Parkway. Near mile marker 48, for an unknown reason, Mr. Lovins’ vehicle overturned, blocking eastbound lanes of travel.
Mr. Lovins was transported by EMS to Baptist Health Madisonville, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper Hunter Carroll.
