Jason Dehaven, 32 was under the influence and in possession of suspected methamphetamine
Madisonville, KY (Hopkins County) – On July 23, 2018 at 5:19 PM, the Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville received a call of a reckless driver in Hopkins County.
Sergeant Jon McGehee made a traffic stop on the 2005 Dodge Caravan after observing the operator driving recklessly on US 41 near Country Club Lane in Madisonville. Through further investigation Sgt. McGehee was able to determine the operator, Jason Dehaven, 32, of Dixon, was under the influence and in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Jason Dehaven was arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center where he was charged with the following:
1.) Reckless Driving
2.) DUI 1st Offense
3.) Possession Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
4.) Possession Drug Paraphernalia
Sgt. McGehee was assisted by Trooper Rob Austin and Trooper 1st Class Billy Over.
