Post 2 in Madisonville received a report of a motorcycle accident on River Road
Central City, KY (Muhlenberg County) – On July 25th, 2018, the Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville received a report of a motorcycle accident on River Road in Central City.
Through investigation, Trooper Matthew Jordan discovered Darren Randolph, 50, of Greenville, was operating a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle on River Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle left the roadway where it traveled down a small ditch line and into a soybean field. Mr. Randolph was thrown from the motorcycle into the soybean field where he and the motorcycle came to final rest. It is undetermined exactly when the crash occurred. Mr. Randolph and the motorcycle were both discovered by members of Road Builders Corp., who were paving in the area. Mr. Randolph was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana by Air Evac from the scene.
