UPDATE #2: Third arrest made in connection to Barren County Murder Investigation
Nashville, TN/Cave City, KY (January 2, 2019) On Wednesday afternoon, detectives with KSP Post 3 obtained an arrest warrant for Devonja Sweat (22), of Nashville, TN in connection to the murder of KeShawn L. Sarver. Mr. Sweat was located near Maplewood Place in Nashville, TN, where he was taken into custody by Nashville Metro Police Department. He was lodged in the Nashville Metro Detention Center in Davidson County, TN and is currently awaiting extradition to Barren County, KY to answer the charge of one count of Murder. The investigation is being led by Detective Josh Amos and continues. No further information is available for release at this time.

UPDATE: Arrests made in Barren County Murder Investigation
Cave City, KY (January 1, 2019) On Tuesday evening, KSP Post 3 detectives arrested two individuals for participating in crimes relating to the death of 22-year old, KeShawn L. Sarver. Sarver was found deceased in his Cave City apartment on Friday, December 28, 2018.
At 9:40 PM (CST), KSP arrested Inell Crayton (23), of Bowling Green, KY and Kayla Anderson (22), of Scottsville, KY. Crayton was charged with one count of Murder, one count of Burglary 1st degree, and one count of Tampering with physical evidence. He is currently lodged in the Barren County Detention Center. Anderson, an acquaintance of Sarver’s, was charged with one count of Tampering with physical evidence, where she is also lodged in the Barren County Detention Center. The investigation is being led by Detective Josh Amos, and is ongoing. No further information is available for release at this time.

Cave City, KY (December 28, 2018)- On Friday evening at 9:08 PM (CST), KSP Post 3 dispatch received a call for service from the Cave City Police Department requesting assistance with a death investigation that had occurred at 200 Glenwood Court. Cave City police officers had responded to the address and located a deceased male inside an apartment complex.
KSP uniformed troopers and detectives responded to the scene. Preliminary investigation has revealed a resident of 200 Glenwood Court (Apartment D), Keshawn L. Sarver (22) of Cave City, was inside his residence when he sustained a suspected gunshot wound, contributing to his death. Sarver was pronounced deceased on scene by the Barren County Coroner’s Office.
Kentucky State Police is requesting that anyone with any information or leads concerning the death of Keshawn Sarver to contact Detective Josh Amos with KSP Post 3 at the following number: (270) 782-2010.
The ongoing investigation is being led by Detective Amos. Detective Amos was assisted by the Cave City Police Department, Barren County Sheriff’s Department, and the Barren County Coroner’s Office.
