Morgantown, Ky. (December 2, 2020)—Kentucky State Police Post 3 arrested 51 year-old Richie T. Bratcher of Morgantown on charges related to prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor. Bratcher was arrested as the result of an investigation after discovering sexually explicit messages to a minor.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence near Morgantown.  Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized for examination.  The investigation is ongoing.

Bratcher has been charged with three (3) counts of Prohibited Use of an Electronic Communication System to Procure a Minor. He is currently lodged in the Butler County Detention Center.
