Campbellsburg, KY. (February 6, 2020) – Kentucky State Police Trooper First Class Michael “Mickey” Gonterman, U/534, was honored today by the Senate at the Kentucky State Capital in Frankfort. Senator Chris McDaniel recognized Tpr. Gonterman for his service to the Commonwealth as a Kentucky State Police Trooper and for a line-of-duty accident that occurred on April 25th, 2018 on Interstate 71 in Henry County in which Tpr. Gonterman sustained multiple serious injuries.
Tpr. Gonterman is a 16 year veteran of the agency, graduating from Kentucky State Police Academy Class 82 in 2004. He has served all 16 years at Post 5 Campbellsburg, and is a resident of Trimble County.
