Carrollton, Ky. (11/23/2022) –On Thursday November 17, 2022, a Kentucky State Police Post 5 detective received information of a possible sex abuse in Carroll County.  The detective investigated the allegation to include multiple interviews.

The initial investigation alleges that Logan Epperson, a 27 year old male of Jonesville, Kentucky, used an application for assistance/services completed by the victim in Carrollton to obtain their address.  Epperson then visited the victim’s residence with the information he had obtained.  It is alleged that once inside the residence Epperson engaged in unwanted sexual contact.

As a result of the investigation Epperson was arrested on Tuesday November 22, 2022 at which time, he was charged with Sex Abuse 1st Degree as well as Harassment.  Epperson was lodged in the Carroll County Detention Center.

This is an ongoing investigation.
