Williamstown, Ky. (May 17, 2023) – Daniel Jones McDaniel II (32) of Grant County has been arrested and charged in reference to the collision on May 17, 2023 in Grant County. Through the investigation Mr. McDaniel has been charged with Driving Under the Influence 2nd Offense, Vehicular Homicide, a Class B Felony, Assault 2nd degree and Criminal Mischief 1st degree. This matter remains under investigation by Post 6 Collision Reconstruction Team. Mr. McDaniel has been lodged at the Grant County Detention Center.

Williamstown, Ky. (May 17, 2023) –The Kentucky State Police at Post 6 Dry Ridge are investigating a two-vehicle collision with a fatality. It is located at the 700 block of South Main Street (US 25) in Williamstown. The roadway will be shut down to motorist till sometime around midnight. Motorist are asked to find an alternate route until the roadway can be reopened.
