Brooksville, Ky. (May 21, 2018) — Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal collision between a motorcycle and a pick-up truck hauling a cattle trailer between Willow Rd and Neave Rd on KY 22 in Bracken County. 

 The collision occurred at approximately 12:00 pm on KY 22. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2017 Kawasaki Motorcycle operated by Alvin Parker (49) of Independence, KY lost control and collided with a 2003 Dodge pick-up hauling a cattle trailer, operated by Darrin Ramsey (52) of Brooksville.

 Mr. Parker was pronounced deceased on scene by the Bracken County Coroner.

 Mr. Ramsey was not injured during the collision.

 Kentucky State Police were assisted on scene by Bracken County Fire Department, Bracken County EMS.

 The collision remains under investigation by Reconstructionist Trooper Zach Alsip.
