Dry Ridge, KY. (September 26, 2020) – The Kentucky State Police, Post 6 in Dry Ridge, was contacted just after 2:00 pm yesterday in reference to a collision that occurred at the 4000 block of Dixie Highway in Grant County.
The initial investigation indicates a 2005 Toyota Scion was traveling south on Dixie Highway before approaching a 2018 Chevrolet Cruise traveling northbound. At the 4000 block of Dixie Highway, the Toyota Scion crossed the center line for reasons unknown, striking the Chevrolet Cruise. The operator of the Toyota Scion, Robert Lister (36) of Williamstown, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Grant County Coroner. The operator of the Chevrolet Cruise was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Grant County, where she was treated and released for non-life-threatening injuries. A toxicology report is pending.
KSP Post 6 was assisted on scene by the Grant County Coroner’s Office, Dry Ridge EMS/Fire, and Crittenden Fire Department.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 6 Reconstruction Unit, Trooper Zachary Alsip.
