Richmond, Ky. (September 15, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 by the Madison County Sheriffs office advising Daniel Diles has been arrested. He was charged with Escape 2nd degree and lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.

Richmond, Ky. (September 14, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted just before 1:30 p.m. today, by the Madison County Sheriffs Office in regarding  an escaped inmate.

The initial investigation alleges Daniel Diles, 36 years old of Richmond, KY, escaped custody during court proceedings at approximately 10:30 a.m. this morning, from the Madison County Court House. He is described as being 5’8″ tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, orange pants and bare foot. Diles is currently wanted for Escape 2nd degree.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Trooper Darrell Hutchison.
