Flemingsburg, KY. (March 29, 2021) – On March 19, 2021 Kentucky State Police, Post 8, Morehead received a call for assistance from the Fleming County Dispatch of a single vehicle injury collision on KY 32 in Fleming County. Through the investigation, it was determined Michael Edward Jackson, 53 years of age, of Carlisle, KY was operating a 1994 Chevrolet pickup. Mr. Jackson was traveling east on KY 32 when he crossed the roadway and struck a parked semi-trailer. Mr. Jackson was pronounced deceased at the scene by Fleming County Coroner Winston Grannis. Kentucky State Police was assisted by Fleming County Sheriff’s Department and Fleming County EMS. This collision remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police, Morehead.
