McCarr, KY (May 3, 2020) – Just before 11 PM, Post 9 received a call of an ATV crash on the Left Fork Blackberry Road.

Upon Trooper’s arrival, it was determined an ATV was traveling on  the Left Fork of Blackberry Road. The vehicle left the roadway, struck the guardrail and entered the creek, coming to rest on its top. Both the operator and passenger were ejected from the vehicle. Both of the occupants were transported to South Williamson ARH. The passenger Chris Fields (40YOA) from Ransom, KY, was later pronounced deceased from injuries received in the crash. Drugs or alcohol is not suspected as a factor at this time.

This is an ongoing investigation and is being led by Trooper Stiltner.
