Paintsville, KY (April 19, 2018) Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post 09, are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on US 460.

 At 10:25 PM Kentucky State Police Post 09 received a call from the Johnson County Sheriff’s office requesting assistance on a fatal collision which occurred in the Paintsville community.                                                        

 Upon Troopers arrival it was determined a male subject was standing in the West bound lane of US 460 when he was struck by a vehicle.

 Jimmy Craft (52) from Salyersville was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Johnson County Coroner’s Office. 

 The collision remains under the investigation of Trooper Johnson.
