KSP Post 15 Commander
Kentucky State Police Post 15 located in Columbia is under the command of Captain Jeffrey A. Suratt. Captain Suratt received his KSP commission in 1993 and was appointed Post 15 commander in July of 2012.
Kentucky State Police Post 15 serves the following Kentucky Counties:
Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington
25th Anniversary of Kentucky State Trooper Johnny Edrington's Death
(COLUMBIA, Ky.) -- A Memorial Service for slain Tpr. Johnny Edrington will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 beginning at 10:30 EDT. The service will begin at the Ransdell Chapel on the campus of Campbellsville University and will be followed by a brief ceremony at Brookside Cemetery on West Main Street in Campbellsville, KY. This year represents the 25th anniversary of Tpr. Edrington's unsolved murder.

Post 15 Trooper Island Golf Scramble
(Columbia, KY.) -- The 2013 Post 15 Trooper Island Golf Scramble is scheduled for Monday, June 17 at 9:00 AM CST (10:00 EDT) with registration beginning at 8:00 AM CST at Lakewood Country Club in Russell Springs, KY The entry fee is $240.00 per team (4 players A, B, C, D) and includes golf, cart, lunch and 1 mulligan per team. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 finishing teams and includes 4 free rounds to The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green for the 1st place team. Dixon Golf will be sponsoring the tournament and the top 3 winning teams will receive entry into the "Big Tournament" www.biggesttournament.com as well as having an opportunity for more prizes (Hole-in-One and Dixon Challenge). Sporting a Crystal Red Metallic exterior and black interior, the vehicle features a 6.2 liter V8 dual overhead cam engine with 400 horsepower and a six-speed automatic transmission that incorporates Active Fuel Management™ for a 24-miles-per-gallon highway rating. In government crash testing, it earned a superlative five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
