Post 6 Unsolved Cases

(Dry Ridge, KY) -  The Kentucky State Police request your help in solving two theft cases in your area.

Unsolved Case 1:

The first case involves the theft of a plasma cutter, which is used to cut steel, from the Monessen Hearth Systems Factory on Cleveland Drive in Paris, KY. The theft occurred on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at approximately 2am.

The factory was open and in operation at the time of the theft. Due to the uniqueness of the stolen item the Trooper investigating the case believes the cutter has probably already been sold.

Unsolved Case 2:

The second case involves the theft of items from a travel trailer at a residence on Russell Cave Road in Cynthiana, KY. This theft occurred on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at approximately 11am.

A gray, 4door, mid-late 80's model Chevrolet, possibly a Celebrity, with two people was seen leaving the area at the time of the theft. The occupants of the vehicle were described as a white male with a large build, wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt and a smaller built person, possibly a female, with shoulder length blond hair. The items listed below were stolen in the theft:

  • Coleman Generator
  • Styl Pole Prunner
  • (2) Echo Hedge Trimmers
  • Craftsman Tool Box containing numerous Wrenches, Ratchets and Sockets
  • Black and Decker Drill Set with several Drill Bits
  • Campbell Hosfield Air Compressor
  • Diamond Back 20" Sport Bike
  • Safety Gas Can
