Boyle County Murder-Suicide Investigation

(Richmond, KY) - On 9-8-2005 at 1230 hours, the Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond, responded to a residence on Wells Landing Road, Danville, after an elderly married couple were found deceased inside their home. KSP officers responded along with several deputies of the Boyle County Sheriff's Department. Both the male and female suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene by Boyle County Deputy Coroner, King Pruitt. Preliminary indications are that this was an apparent murder-suicide. The deceased will be taken to the State Medical Examiners Office in Frankfort where autopsies will be conducted. The couple's next-of-kin have not been notified. The investigation by Detective Monte Owens continues.
