Drug Trafficking Arrests In Boyle, Garrard, Jessamine, and Lincoln Counties

Date of News Release: 07/19/2006

(RICHMOND, KY) - A year long investigation into illicit drug trafficking in Boyle, Garrard, Jessamine, and Lincoln Counties have culminated with the arrests of thirty people. On 7/19/2006 at 0530 hours, KSP troopers began serving warrants on suspected drug traffickers. The troopers were assisted by deputies of Garrard, Jessamine, and Lincoln County, along with agents of the Bureau Of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. The investigation into illicit drug trafficking in these counties is ongoing. The Kentucky State Police encourage the public to report any suspected illegal drug activity to our anonymous drug tip-line at 1-800-DOPETIP or the Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond at 1-800-222-5555 or 1-859-623-2404. All callers may remain anonymous. The following is a list of those persons arrested and the charges:

Lincoln County

1. Rick Foley age 41 of Crab Orchard- Trafficking In A Controlled Substance 2nd ( Lortabs)
2. Chad Bennet age 25 of Crab Orchard- Trafficking In A Controlled Substance 1st (OxyContin)
3. Herald Fowler age 45 of Crab Orchard-Trafficking In Marijuana Within 1000 Yards Of A School, Tafficking In Marijuana Less Than 8 Ounces, Possession Of A Controlled Substance 2nd (Steroids), Possession Of A Controlled Substance 3rd (Clonopin)
4. Connie Gooch age 35 of Stanford- Trafficking In A Controlled Substance 1st (2 Counts) (Oxycontin)
5. Charles Graves age 52 of Stanford- Trafficking In A Controlled Substance 1st (2 Counts) (Crack Cocaine)
6. Donald Depew age 27 of Stanford- Trafficking In A Controlled 1st (2Counts) ( Cocaine )
7. Avery Parson age 27 of Stanford- Trafficking In A Controlled Substance
8. Christopher Brock age 22 of Stanford- Trafficking In A Controlled Substance 1st (OxyContin), Trafficking Marijuana Within 1000 Yards Of A School
