Fatal Crash on Highway 476 in Perry County

(Hazard, KY) - On 4/18/07 at approximately 8:45 p.m. Kentucky State Police in Hazard received a call of an accident on Hwy 476 in the Ary community of Perry County. Upon arrival of emergency personnel it was determined a single vehicle had ran off the roadway, over an embankment and overturned. The operator of the vehicle, Trella Allen, was transported to the Hazard ARH for treatment. The passenger, Paul Allen, was partially ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene by the Perry County Coroner's Office. No seat belts were in use and the investigation is continuing by Tpr. Johnny Feltner.
