Motorcycle Accident in Perry County

(Hazard, KY) - On 10/08/07 at approximately 9:05 p.m. Kentucky State Police in Hazard received a call of an accident at the junction of Hwy 550 and Crawford Mountain Road in the Combs Community of Perry County.

Units arrived to find an off road motorcycle and passenger car had collided. The motorcycle had two juveniles on board at the time of the collision. Both were transported to the Hazard ARH for treatment. The juvenile passenger was admitted to the ARH and the operator was airlifted to Holsten Valley Medical Center. The operator of the passenger received no injuries. The accident remains under investigation by Tpr. Loren Holiday.
