Continuing Murder Investigation in Grant County
Date of News Release: 11/14/2007
(Dry Ridge, KY) - Detectives from Kentucky State Police in Dry Ridge continue investigation into the murder of a Grant County couple. Troopers responded to 1500 Cordova Road in Williamstown on Tuesday morning after being asked to check on the welfare of Terrence "Terry" Bramlage, 53, and Lynda Bramlage also 53 years of age. The responding State Troopers found both persons dead inside the home from gunshot wounds. At that time, KSP Detectives and the Grant County Coroner responded to investigate the circumstances that lead to the deaths of the victims.
Autopsies on the victims were initiated this morning at the State Medical Examiner's office and continuing at this time. Results are pending.
The initial investigation revealed that there was no forced entry into the home. Troopers were able to make entry to the home through an unlocked door and it is believed likely that the assailant did the same. There was no preliminary indication of motive nor were there any overt signs that robbery of the victims was a motivating factor. There are no suspects at this time.
Investigators from KSP collaborated with the Grant County Coroner, a forensic expert from the KSP Crime lab and forensic investigators from the Boone County Sheriff's Office to process the crime scene and collect physical evidence. KSP Detectives are continuing to conduct interviews and process all evidence collected at the scene.
