Forcht Bank Robbery Investigation & Arrest

(Dry Ridge, KY) - The Kentucky State Police along with the Grant County Sheriff's Department responded to a robbery that occurred this morning (8/29/08) at the Forcht Bank located at 1250 Owenton Road in Corinth, KY. At approximately 0940 hours this morning, Sam Raymond Boles, white male, 35 years of age of Covington entered the bank and provided the teller a note demanding money. Mr. Boles immediately departed the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. Mr. Boles entered a 1993, light blue Dodge Shadow and traveled northbound on I-75. Shortly after his departure, the vehicle fitting the description and license number was spotted stationary by a Kentucky State Police Trooper at the 146.5 mile marker on I-75 northbound due to a blown tire. Kentucky State Police observed a female enter a tractor trailer near the vehicle and was subsequently stopped. Lisa Boles, white female, 43 years of age, of Covington, KY, Sam Boles sister was located inside the tractor trailer in efforts to obtain a ride and was taken into custody. At approximately 1300 hours, KSP unit located Mr. Boles near his home address in Covington where he was detained for questioning. At approximately 1600 hours, both Sam and Lisa Boles were charged with Robbery II. The case is under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Kevin Flick.
