Lincoln County Fire Investigations

(Richmond, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond is currently investigating a series of structure fires in the City of Crab Orchard. The fires all occurred on Manor Boulevard in Crab Orchard. On 09/30/ 2008 at 9:41 p.m. a fire started in an outbuilding belonging to Ken Price. The Price family was able to extinguish the fire, but fifteen minutes later the outbuilding caught fire again and was destroyed. On 10/01/ 2008 at 4:53 p.m. two outbuildings belonging to Bill Severance burned, and were destroyed. At 8:57 p.m. on the same date, a fire broke out in an attached garage belonging to John Garner. KSP Arson Investigator Pat Alford responded to the scenes of these fires at the request of the Crab Orchard Fire Department. The fires are all suspicious in nature and arson investigations are underway. There are no suspects at this time.
