Death Investigation in Madison County

(Richmond, KY) - On 10/26/2008 at 6:48 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 7 troopers responded to a disturbance where shots were fired on Charlie Norris Road in eastern Madison County. Upon arrival at the residence, KSP troopers found one victim dead from an apparent gunshot wound. KSP detectives and the Madison County Coroner are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. The deceased was taken to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort, where an autopsy will be conducted. The name of the victim is not being released at this time. The case remains under investigation by Detective Brian Reeder and Detective Bill Collins.
