Correctional Officer Charged with Sexual Abuse

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- The Kentucky State Police have arrested a Correctional Officer at the Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women in Peewee Valley, KY. An investigation by Post 12 Frankfort has lead to the arrest Officer Sergeant James B Johnson. He has been charged with 25 counts of Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree, 50 counts of Official Misconduct, 1 count of Trafficking in a Control Substance 2nd Degree and 1 count of Promoting Contraband 1st Degree. He has been lodged in the Shelby County Detention Center. The Kentucky State Police investigation has revealed that Johnson was supplying control substances to female inmates and sexually abusing them.
