Injury collision on Julian M. Carroll Parkway

(Hickory, Ky.) -- Ms. April May was operating her motor vehicle south on Julian M. Carroll Parkway when she drifted off the right side of the roadway. Ms. May then overcorrected causing the vehicle to travel into the median where it overturned numerous times, coming back onto the roadway and crossing both lanes, coming to final rest in the southbound emergency lane. Ms. May was transported to Parkway Regional and Mr. James May was air lifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Trooper Ward was assisted on scene by Twin City Ambulance Service, Air Evac, Fulton City Police Department, Fulton County Sheriff Department, and the Kentucky State Highway Department. Investigation is continuing by Trooper Jonathon Ward.
