Pendleton County Arrest

(Dry Ridge, Ky.) -- Detective Scott Lengle of the Kentucky State Police Post 6 has been investigating criminal offenses involving Donna Wood (51) of Falmouth, Ky. During the investigation Det. Lengle determined Donna Wood acting as President and CEO of United Kentucky Bank of Falmouth committed Fraudulent Insurance acts three counts in 2008, 2009, and 2010 by falsifying insurance applications. He also determined that Donna Wood Willfully Filed/ Making False Tax Returns in 2004 through 2010. Donna Wood was indicted on these charges by the Pendleton County Grand Jury on November 16, 2011.

Detective Lengle also determined that Richard "Tom" Wood (32) of Falmouth was receiving stolen funds from his mother Donna Wood. He has been indicted one count of Receiving Stolen Property ($10,000.00 or more) and one count of Receiving Stolen Property ($300.00 or more). Richard Wood was also indicted on seven counts of Willfully Filing/Making False Tax Return from 2004 through 2010. Richard Wood was also indicted on November 16, 2011.

Detective Lengle also determined that William Brett Wood (28) of Falmouth was receiving stolen funds from his mother Donna Wood. He was indicted on one count of Receiving Stolen Property ($10,000.00 or more) and one count of Receiving Stolen Property ($300.00 or more). William Wood was also indicted on seven counts of Willfully Filing/Making False Tax Returns from 2004 through 2010. William Wood was indicted on November 16, 2011.

During the investigation Detective Lengle discovered that Richard and William Wood provided multiple individuals with large amounts of money during the time frame they were receiving stolen funds from their mother. Ricky Moore (53) of Falmouth Ky. was indicted on two counts of Willfully Filing/Making False Tax Returns from 2009 and 2010. Geneva Hamilton (71) of Falmouth Ky. was indicted on one count of Willfully Failing to make a Tax Return in 2008 for the tax year of 2007. Floyd Rarrieck (68) of Falmouth, Ky. was indicted on two counts of Willfully Failing to Make a Tax Return in 2009 for tax year 2008 and in 2010 for tax year 2009. Detective Lengle also discovered that Floyd Rarrieck was obtaining controlled substances from area doctors without a practitioner/patient relationship often referred to as "doctor shopping" in Grant County. A Grant County Grand Jury indicted Rarrieck for this offense.
