Death Investigation in Fleming County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On April 17, 2011 at 6:45 PM, Kentucky State Police Morehead was notified of a domestic in process. Sergeant Rob Conn, Sergeant Robert Prater, Detective Wess Prather, Trooper Chad Bowling, and Trooper Eugene Robinson responded to the scene. Upon arrival Angela Gulley was located in the residence with a gunshot wound to the head. Donnie Riddle was found with a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Mr. Riddle and Ms. Gulley were transported by Fleming County EMS to Fleming Hospital, where they were then airlifted to UK Hospital in Lexington, KY. Mr. Riddle is listed in critical condition at UK Hospital. Ms. Gulley was pronounced deceased at 9:53 PM. Next of kin has been notified by Fayette County Coroners Office. The Death remains under investigation by Detective Wess Prather Unit 896.
