Felony Arrest in Bath County

Date of News Release: 05/16/2011

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On May 15, 2011, at 0157 hours, Kentucky State Police in Morehead received a call in reference to a disturbance involving a weapon at 5197 White Oak Road in Bath County. Trooper Anson Tribby, unit 387, responded to the scene. Scott E. Eastham was taken into custody for Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Burglary 2nd Degree, and Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place 1st Offense. Mr. Eastham was transported to Bath County Dispatch Center for processing. Mr. Eastharn became combative and kicked Trooper Tribby. Trooper Tribby deployed his electronic control device. Mr. Eastham became compliant without further incident. Trooper Tribby transported Mr. Eastham to the Montgomery County Detention Center where he was lodged. Mr. Eastham was additionally charged with Assault 3rd Degree-Police Officer, Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree, Menacing, and Resisting Arrest. Case Remains under investigation by Trooper Anson Tribby.
