Injury collision on KY 1274 In Rowan County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On 05/21/2011 at 0953 Hours Kentucky State Police, Post 8 Morehead, received a report of a single vehicle injury accident involving a motorcycle on KY1274 In Rowan County. Treena L Swartz of Swanton, Ohio was operating a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle North on KY1274 when she failed to negotiate a left hand turn and left the roadway, causing her to overturn on the right shoulder. Swartz sustained minor injuries during the accident and was transported to Saint Claire Medical Center in Morehead. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Keith Howard.
