Injury collision on Lower Sand Lick Road in Morgan County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- On June 4, 2011, at 6:09 PM, Kentucky State Police in Morehead received a call of a single vehicle injury accident on Lower Sand Lick Road in Morgan County. Trooper Whitney Howard responded to the scene. Dustin Williams was traveling Eastbound on Lower Sand Lick Road when his vehicle exited the right shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle traveled down an embankment and overturned on it's top. Mr Willaims was extricated from the vehicle by Morgan County Fire and Rescue. Mr. Williams was flown to Saint Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia, where he is being treated for his injuries. Accident remains under investigation by Trooper Howard.
