Injury accident in Rowan County

(Morehead, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Morehead received a call for service of a domestic disturbance that had taken place on McBrayer Road in Clearfield, KY. Patricia Hargett left the residence to get away from the altercation. As Ms. Hargett was leaving the residence, a 17 year old juvenile stepped in front of the vehicle. Ms. Hargett swerved to miss the juvenile, but inadvertantly struck the juvenile with the passenger side of her vehicle. The juvenile was taken by private vehicle to St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY. The juvenile was treated and released with minor injuries to his arm. The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Morehead.
